Grub Girl

This sweet grub girlie is made with hand dyed 100% Maine wool roving from Done Roving farm in Charlotte, Maine. Unfortunately you can't see the detail in her Grub body. She anticipates spring with a secret smile and winter cap and cape.
Final doll for 2010 pay it forward project. (This one got paid waay forward.)

Pay it forward

Dolls I made for a Pay It Forward concept that happened on Facebook. So you make something for the first 5 people to respond to the thread then they make something  for the first 5 respondents to theirs. So far I have made 4 of the 5 dolls I promised.

wool felted critters

I love wool roving. I love the colours, the texture, the lanolin. I love that you can sculpt the stuff. Needle felting is super fun and a perfect hobby for obsessive people who suffer from excessive fidgit syndrome.
